THAT TIME I GOT REINCARNATED AS A SLIME SEASON 2 EPISODE 47

I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 2 Part 2 Episode 47 was a pretty good episode of TenSura. But I wouldn't say it's a great anime episode overall. It was good. When you compare it to the good anime of this season, it just doesn't hold up.

Either way, I still don't really understand what a Majin is in the context of this series. My best guess is that he's a person with a lot of magic. But it seems to include a lot of characters.

Weak of Clayman

It would be nice if we had a real definition. But, I guess it takes a bit more if you consider that we don't even have a definition of what a demon lord is. Despite what Clayman claimed, he was definitely not a demon lord (until he woke up at the end of this episode).

Also, I find it funny that Clayman talks to Rimuru and Shion just by calling them Majin while describing himself as a demon lord. And yet, Clayman is recognized as the weakest of the Harlequinn Moderate Alliance, whose other members are older.

It also doesn't take into consideration that Rimuru has the royal title of Demon Lord, unlike Clayman. Clayman is a loser. And I remember people trying to convince me that I was actually a threat in season 1 or the first part of season 2.

Even then, I had called Clayman a wimp. How did this guy manage to convince the other demon lords (royal) that he was one of them? There is no way Guy really believed Clayman was a true Demon Lord.

Also, speaking of Guy, it now makes sense that he said that Milim entered the arena from Clayman's side of his own free will.

Chad Shion vs. Virgin Clayman

Even though Clayman always acted and spoke on his own, it's pretty clear that he recognized how weak he was deep down. Even before Shion beat him and we got the flashback that told us he was weak, there were plenty of signs.

, You didn't find it strange that Clayman decided to fight Shion while leaving Rimuru to Milim. I imagine a true demon lord wouldn't stoop to fighting another demon lord's subordinate.

Just by doing this, Clayman recognizes that he is no match for Rimuru and that Shion's power level is more appropriate to fight him. But, as we have seen, even the “humble Majin” Shion was too powerful for Clayman. He didn't stand a chance.

Oh, and let's not forget that Shion isn't even the strongest of Rimuru's subordinates. Veldora, Benimaru and Diablo are above her. You could probably argue that Souei or Hakurou are above her as well.

I'm by no means a fan of Shion. I have to admit it was satisfying to see her slap Clayman the way she did. When he had knocked him down and asked if he could finish him off, he almost expected Rimuru to tell him to leave him out of pity.

We know Rimuru has no problem killing people who make him angry, which Clayman certainly did. And of course, Rimuru is going to kill Clayman next week. But Clayman looked so pathetic that it looked like Rimuru could forgive him in exchange for information about his master.

However, I guess not even Clayman is going to denounce his comrades.

The final battle

The final episode of TenSura Season 2 will also feature the final battle between Rimuru and Clayman. Something tells me that even with Clayman now awakened as a true Demon Lord, there won't be much fighting.

Even though he has a lot more magical power now, we are still talking about Clayman. He's a loser and a coward. He still won't stand a chance against someone like Rimuru. In fact, even Shion could still take it that way.

But honestly, the real reason I think Rimuru is going to mop the floor with Clayman is actually that it's the last episode of the season. This means that most of the episode will be what I call “cool down” content after the fight.

We're going to need a scene of the other demon lords recognizing Rimuru as one of them. And then there will probably be a little chat about who Clayman's teacher might be - Guy and Milim might have an idea.

The other demon lords might recognize Veldora as well. And, let's not forget, Rimuru will have to return home to Tempest and they'll likely throw a party there.

At the end of the episode, I'm sure there will also be a scene that catches up with some of the series' villains. We could see Laplace, Tear and Footman, or Demon Lord Kazaream, or the Kirito-style guy who's actually the one pulling the strings behind the scenes.

Basically, because this is the last episode of the season, there will be a lot of content that isn't the Rimuru vs. Clayman fight. So based on that, I hope maybe Rimuru will absorb Clayman and all the souls in him.
