Netflix Cowboy Bebop Also Gets Young Spikes And A Vicious Prequel Novel
The live-action version comes with a novel and comic book series written by the series writer.
Plenty of cowboy bebop outlets have emerged from the proverbial Jumpgate ahead of Netflix's upcoming live-action adaptation. The most notable of these is Cowboy Bebop:
Syndicate Story: Red Planet Requiem, the first novel by writer Sean Cummings. Set in Spike's syndicated era before the bounty hunters, it explores his early adventures with Vicious and perhaps sheds more light on how he becomes a lonely cowboy roaming the stars.
Further Expanding the World of Cowboy Bebop is a comic book series featuring "unprecedented" stories set in the world of entertainment. Follow the bebop team as they go after ex-gang members at best who are said to bring unlimited luck. Written by DC veteran Dan Watters and art by Lamar Maturin.
To conclude everything is the creation of the series Cowboy Bebop: Netflix. This is the official companion featuring concept art, behind-the-scenes photography, and ahead of showrunner Andrenemek. The only way it would be better would be to have a unique Yoko Kanno exclusive soundtrack.
This is all part of the wide range of Cowboy Bebop driving forces coming to Netflix on November 19. Earlier this week, Netflix released some of the first images in the series that seem to faithfully reproduce the look of the popular anime.
Therefore, the first novel will be released a few days after the show on November 23, and the companion book will be released on January 11. The first article of the four comic series will be published in December 2021. Paperback after May 2022.
